Remember the scene in A League of Their Own where Tom says “there’s no crying in baseball”? Well, a similar saying can be applied in sales. “There’s no guessing in sales”! No “I think” or “I hope” or “I believe”. No guessing!
It’s our responsibility as sales executives to continuously qualify the opportunity. We need to regularly validate what we have learned throughout the sales cycle with key stakeholders to ensure nothing’s changed or we haven’t missed anything.
